Summary:
When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of his success—multinational businesses, vast wealth, a loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.
My Opinion: So when I first read the book I was really into it then towards the end of the book it was starting to get sickening, it felt like the book just kept dragging on, with the word "murmur" popping up everywhere and how 1/8 of the book are emails and at the end of each email is "CEO of blah blah blah" and the whole to, from, subject part had gotten annoying to me and i would just skipped it all and just read what they had written to each other. He always demanded her to eat, with the way he was going he should have just shoved the food down her throat. Don't get me wrong the sex scenes were awesome but some of them was like holy cow how can anyone have sex like that , like 3 times a day. I would be exhausted after the first two times, or the Red Room of Pain would be enough for me for the day. I think the book could have been written better a lot better. I didn't like the whole stalker aspect of the book. If I found out a boyfriend of mine was stalker me like that his ass would have been to the curb and a restrain order would be put on him, id change my cell number and possibly my address. I just started on Fifty Shades Darker and I already cant take Christian with his demanding-ness but I've been told to keep reading cause the third book is better, but we'll see.
What's your opinion? Did you like the book too? Did you feel the same way about the book?
